So often at wedding fairs I see brides wondering around, looking so daunted at everything on offer. So here are my top tips on how to get the most from every wedding fair you go to. After all, not all of them are free entry, so you want to get your money's worth.
Make sure you get the goody bag! Not just for the free goodies, most of them will contain literature of some of the companies you're about to talk to and guaranteed you'll forget the name of the lovely cake lady you met.
Leave it a little later. The mornings tend to be busiest at wedding fairs and you don't want to be queuing to speak to every supplier.
Zig Zag the room. This will ensure you don't miss any stands out, again you want to make sure you get your money's worth on your ticket.
Keep an open mind. You may have Uncle Brian doing your wedding photos, but if things change you'll be glad you spent 2 minutes talking to that photographer about the process and prices etc.
Take your Pintrest ideas. You can show the suppliers and get a general idea of cost and timescales.
Leave your email address. Lots of wedding suppliers like to keep in touch with newsletters and offers etc, these are great ways to save a few quid on your budget.
Last but not least, have fun! Take your friends, drink Prosecco and make memories. This is the fun part of wedding planning so enjoy. x
